Salvation Of Souls
Salvation of souls is a central point in Christianity, with the belief that it is after death that people will receive the ultimate judgement of their souls based on the way they conducted themselves while they were still on earth with Jesus Christ as the advocate for those that accepted Him as Lord and Saviour.
This judgement determines whether they move on to eternal life or are condemned to suffer punishment in hell. For Jesus said He will separate the sheep from the goats meaning children of light from those of darkness, weed from wheat. The concept of salvation can be difficult to grasp and it goes beyond just believing in certain religious notions - it involves developing righteousness, leading a moral life and displaying characteristics such as kindness, love, meekness and compassion.
Hardships and challenges are part of religion leading to salvation , this could involve self denial, fasting, self-restraint, performing prayer or charitable works, among other behaviours. For the Bible says faith without works is dead.
